James Galway
James Galway is a famous flute player. He plays both classical and contemporary pieces. He started playing the flute when he was very young, at the age of 9 he took lessons from his father and his grandfather. He worked with the Sadler's Wells Opera House Orchestra and the London Symphony Orchestra. He became the principal solo flutist with the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra. He stayed with the orchestra for many years but then he decided to take on a solo career. He started making scores and releasing albums. He also started teaching the flute.

Jeanne Baxtresser
Jeanne is an American flute player. She came from a musical family, her mother was a concert pianist, her father also played the piano but just as a hobby. He was a music lover. She started to play the flute at the age of 9. She was the principle soloist of the New York Philiharmonic, but before that she was the principle flute of the Toronto symphony. After her graduation of Juilliard School, she went right into the Montreal Symphony. She won the Lifetime Achievement Award of the National Flute Association in 2006.
